US President Donald Trump announced on Friday the departure of Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff. She will be replaced by Stephen Miller, currently deputy chief of staff and one of the president's most trusted advisers.

Trump himself announced the news through a post on his network, "Truth Social", where he announced that Miller will officially take office on Monday, November 9, 2026.

"I am pleased to announce that Stephen Miller, currently the Trump Administration's Deputy Chief of Staff and one of my most trusted advisors, will become the new Chief of Staff, effective Monday, November 9, 2026 ," the US president wrote.

Trump also praised the work of Susie Wiles, saying that she has done an extraordinary job and that she will now be engaged in his political structure.

"I want to thank her for her service as Chief of Staff. She has done a great job," Trump wrote.

Wiles is expected to leave office this week, while continuing his involvement in Trump's political operation.
