42nd day of protest, citizens begin marching in the streets of Tirana

After the speeches on the Boulevard ended, the protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana.

Even today, there has been no shortage of accusations against the government and demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"I've been coming here for 42 days, I'm ready to stay for another 420 until this political class is thrown out. This system does not represent us, honest Albanians who for 42 days have been showing ourselves and the world that we do not agree with evil," said a protester during speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

"We grew up among the shells. Let's not forget Gërdec, January 21 and the corruption scandals. The infrastructure is half-finished, the road in my village hasn't been built for 40 years, while 4.2 million euros go to a fascist," said activist Arbër Lleshi.

Criticism from the podium went to the government's 4 million euro investment for the American singer's concert.

"He has declared farmers enemies of the country. Instead of compensating the flooded farmers, he goes and gives 4 million euros to a singer who doesn't get a job," said a farmer.

"There was no generator or fuel at the pediatrics. For the personal interests of someone whose name I don't want to mention, 4 million euros and some are being paid to present Albania like this," said another protester.

On the 42nd day of the protest, the 5 previous demands addressed to the government were reiterated, calling for Rama's resignation.
