Edmond (Ali) Sula , executed in the early hours of Sunday near the gate of his apartment in Vora , was involved in property sales and one of the main leads of the investigation is related to suspicions of conflicts that may have been related to this activity.

It is suspected that the 50-year-old was shot with a bullet from behind as he parked his vehicle and was entering the apartment's yard.


The 50-year-old, who was also known as the 'strongman ' of the area, was executed from behind, with a bullet to the head from a rifle with binoculars.

Police announcement:

On 12.07.2026, at around 00:10, in the village of Bërxullë, Vorë, it is suspected that citizen E(A). S., around 50 years old, was shot dead while walking on the street.

A special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is at the scene and continues to work to clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to capture any evidence that will help in its clarification, identification and capture of the suspected perpetrator(s).

Police services have set up checkpoints and are conducting searches in the area, with the aim of apprehending the perpetrator(s).
