"You build towers, we bear wounds" - Hundreds of Albanians gather in Munich to protest against the Government

Hundreds of Albanian immigrants have gathered in Munich, Germany, in support of the protest that has been taking place in Tirana for 15 days, where citizens are demanding the resignation of the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

They have joined the calls and demands that have been articulated for more than two weeks in the capital by thousands of citizens in front of the prime minister's office and on the city's streets.

"You build towers, we bear wounds, You sell Albania, we hold the flag high. The decision is coming from Munich, Rama is leaving, There is talk of exile," reads one of the banners held by protesters near the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität campus.

As in the protests in Tirana, in Germany, the symbolic call of this rally "Rama resign", as well as "New Albania", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" was not missing.

During the protest, Albanians did not spare irony and political messages towards the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

One of the banners held at the protest features a photo of her together with Prime Minister Rama, accompanied by the message: "Stop supporting the criminal regime."
