Attempted robbery of the Albanian Post Office in Shkodra

An attempted robbery occurred this evening in the city of Shkodra, where an unidentified person attempted to rob the Albanian Post Office branch in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood.

According to the Police report, at around 7:00 PM, the perpetrator entered the post office premises and attempted to forcefully take a sum of money from the cash register.

"Around 19:00, in the "Vasil Shanto" neighborhood, a still unidentified citizen entered the premises of the Albanian Post branch and attempted to forcefully take a sum of money, but was unable to take it and while leaving, broke the window of the counter.

"Police services immediately went to the scene and continue to search the area for his capture," the blue uniforms announced.

Despite the attempted theft, the perpetrator failed to take the money and broke the window of the counter while leaving.

Broken windows were found at the scene, while police services arrived immediately and began searching the area to apprehend the perpetrator.
