The Tirana police have reacted after the publication of a news about an attempted robbery in Kamëz.
According to what was reported earlier, a gas station at "Kthesa e Kamza" was attempted to be robbed. But police say that is untrue.
"Regarding a published news, about an attempted robbery that happened a few minutes ago, at a gas station in Tirana, we clarify the public opinion that: The published news is not true", the Police clarifies.
The number of armed robberies in recent days has increased significantly, with two cases in Tirana, in a house and a gas station as well as in Kurbin. This has led the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, to announce a plan of special measures for the prevention of criminal events, which tend to increase as the end of the year holidays approach.
