A serious case of sexual abuse and exploitation occurred in Kosovo, where the victim is a 23-year-old woman with mental health problems.

The girl is originally from Albania and for several days, she was declared missing in our country. It is reported that the 23-year-old woman left alone by bus from Tirana and arrived in Peja.

She was found on December 8 after family members and the police went there to look for her. At the time when the girl was found, she was in a very serious psychological and health condition, but without signs of violence on her body. However, medical tests revealed that she had been raped.

According to the authorities, the sexual abuse took place in an unoccupied house and it is suspected that several people are involved. Investigations are currently being carried out and security cameras have been viewed in the areas of the city where the girl has moved, to find out more about what happened to her.

Currently, the investigations continue to make it possible to identify and arrest the persons involved.
