Former minister Ilir Beqaj in SPAK

The former Minister of Health during the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Ilir Beqaj, has testified for more than 9 hours in the Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Structure.

Questioned as a person under investigation for abuse of office, related to the 100 million euro concession for the sterilization of surgical equipment, Beqaj testified at SPAK for a full 9 hours and 30 minutes, thus breaking a personal "record" of his, when he testified for 9 hours in a row a year ago.

At the end of the testimony and while leaving SPAK, Beqaj stated briefly that "I gave explanations as a person under investigation." I asked for other investigative actions to be carried out."

We remind you that former Deputy Minister of Health Klodjan Rrjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj are under arrest for this affair. Beqaja has been ordered to show up and banned from moving abroad.

During his stay at SPAK, attention was drawn to Beqaj's poorly parked car, which did not escape a fine from the traffic police.
