High temperatures, the Institute of Geosciences issues the alarm: Tomorrow there will be a high risk of fires in these cities

Our country is under the "power" of extremely high temperatures, thus bringing the risk of fires.

The Institute of Geosciences has recently announced that we will have another increase in temperatures tomorrow.

The areas most at risk from fires will be: Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Korçë, Vlorë and Gjirokastër.

Maximum temperatures are expected to reach up to 34°C in coastal areas, up to 37°C in low-lying areas, and up to 33°C in mountainous areas.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday, 05) a "HIGH" risk level is expected in the regions of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Korçë, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, while a "MODERATE" risk level is expected in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës and Dibër."

In some regions, "HIGH" risk is expected only in localized areas, specifically: Shkodër region (West), Kukës region (North-East) and Dibër region (West).

"The risk is expected to be higher tomorrow," the announcement says.
