The moment of Marklen Haka's arrest

Yesterday, the police arrested the much-wanted justice Marklen Haka in Nikël. Along with him, 4 other people were accompanied to DVP Tirana. Among the other 4 arrested is Klajdi Haka, a relative of Marklen Haka, who helped the much-wanted justice to hide in his apartment in Nikël, in Bacungut Lake., 21 years old. 

In the apartment of the young man Klajdi Haka, a pistol firearm was found and seized. The 21-year-old was put in handcuffs for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime".

Following the coded police operation "Bacungu Lake", issued yesterday, the citizen KH, 21 years old, resident of Zeze, Nikël, was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Supporting the author of the crime", provided by articles 278/4 and 302 of the Criminal Code.

During the inspection of the apartment of citizen KH, (the apartment where citizen MH, alias MA was hiding), a pistol firearm was found and seized as material evidence, the police announced.

It was 14:00 yesterday when RENEA entered the apartment where Marklen Haka was hiding near Lake Bacungu, Nikël, Krujë. For 4 days (from September 2) Haka was kept under observation until the moment when it was decided to intervene by raiding the apartment and catching the 33-year-old suddenly, barefoot, in a white T-shirt and shorts. In the moments when RENEA intervened, Haka tried to escape but was stopped by the police forces, while a firearm was also found in the apartment.

Marklen Haka was declared an international wanted man after the decision of the Special Court on May 15 of this year for 'prison arrest' in absentia' for attempted murder with premeditation against Durim Bami.
