The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime closes the investigations and takes the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, to trial on charges of falsifying forms.
According to SPAK, Hajdari did not declare on the form his sentence received in Greece for illegal crossing of the border in 1999.
We recall that on November 15, SPAK took Kreshnik Hajdari as a defendant after informing him of the charge of falsifying forms. According to the Special Prosecutor's Office, he violated Article 190/2 of the Criminal Code, which provides for a sentence of 6 months to 5 years in prison, as a result of not declaring the judicial process against him in Greece in the decriminalization forms twice, from 2019 to ongoing.
Hajdari faced the prosecutors together with his lawyer Theodhori Sollaku on November 15, a day after the CEC refused to remove the mandate with the argument that the court decision against him in Ioannina in 1999 was not a legal reason for leaving office.
