The State Police has prepared a plan of measures aimed at guaranteeing public order and security before, during and after the Albania - Andorra football match, a match which will take place today as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, at the 'National Arena', Tirana.
In the plan of measures published the day before, the Blues announced that from 15:00, the roads near the National Arena stadium will be blocked.
Streets that will be blocked:
“Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, from the Presidency intersection towards “Mother Teresa” Square
“Papa John Paul II”
Street “Dervish Hima” Street, near the US Embassy
“Asim Zeneli” Street, near the US Embassy
“Themistokli Germenji” Street
“Gjergj Filipi” Street
“Lekë Dukagjini” Street, from the former Republic Guard to the stadium
“Faik Konica” Street
“Skerdilajd Llagami” Street
At the same time, fans have been warned that in case of violations or throwing hard objects on the field, they risk fines or imprisonment. Their entry into the stadium will start at 18:00.
