Albanian and Romanian caught in Italy with 90 kg of cannabis in car

Police agents in Milan arrested a 35-year-old Romanian and a 39-year-old Albanian, both with no prior criminal records, on charges of possession with intent to sell over 90 kilograms of marijuana.

Investigators stopped the two after noticing a car in the Brignano Gera d'Adda area approaching a parked truck and handing large plastic bags to the driver before speeding away.

It was at that moment that the police decided to search the truck, with Romanian license plates, finding the large bag handed over a short while earlier by the person in the car and a part of the vehicle's floor without screws.

By dismantling all of the floorboards of the truck trailer, agents found numerous packages of marijuana with a total weight of approximately 90 kilograms.
