A criminal group specializing in pharmacy and bank robberies has been busted by police in Spain.

They are accused of more than 40 burglaries in the provinces of Alicante, Murcia and Valencia in Spain, stealing safes and vaults.

The police operation was carried out following investigations and coordination between the Civil Guard and the National Police. Seven house searches were carried out in Orihuela, Torrevieja, Benidorm, Villajoyosa and Denia, leading to the arrest of six members of the organization.

During the checks, officers seized 7,000 euros, an empty pistol, clothing used in the robbery, tools, GPS trackers and remote controls, an OBD device for cloning vehicle keys, an Italian Police tactical vest, and five vehicles used in the crimes.

The arrested, from Albania, Kosovo and Bulgaria, had criminal records in Spain. One of them even had an entry ban against him, and another had a murder case in Ukraine.
