In Rome, his people called him "Kapo". This is the new weighty name of the Albanian underworld in the capital.

It is considered a high-profile criminal rank, raised under the protective wing of the most well-known Albanian bosses in the territory of the Romanian capital, such as Arben Zogu, Dorian Petoku and Petrit Bardhi.

His name is Artur Ndreka, 35 years old. However, his reign ended last Monday, Italian media write .

An investigation by the Public Prosecution and the Guardia di Finanza, into international drug trafficking, has sanctioned the end of the nascent crime empire. Now Ndreka is in a prison, together with his brother, Mark.

His criminal activity extended to the southern quadrant of Rome: Acilia and Vitinia were the squares of drug trafficking, where, at the head of a gang of eight people, he sold drugs as if it were a common market.

A game simplified also by the historical moment, with the three Albanian mafia bosses arrested in Rome, which allowed Ndreka to quickly climb to the top of the Balkan pyramid.

He was the "Boss", for his people and his figure could not be discussed.

From the interceptions of the Guardia di Finanza, a clear picture of the criminal activity of the Albanian in Rome emerges.

The control over the territory, the sale of drugs, the rigid hierarchy within the group and the contacts with Albanian bosses, which gave them strength and prestige within the world of crime, up to the total control of the structure built by Albanian criminals.

Investigator Valeria Tomassini, in a detailed order, writes: "The investigative activity returns the clear picture of an active center of drug trafficking operating in the Roman suburbs of Vitinia and Acilia, especially in the building in via Castel D'Aioni and via Codigoro, used as a meeting place to move quantities of cocaine and hashish and in contact with characters known for the high criminal depth".

The Minister of State of Italy, Matteo Piantedosi himself, congratulated the operation on November 21 through an announcement on Twitter: "Operation Gdf, the traffic square in Rome has been defeated. The war on drugs is crucial to stop the spread of crime and lawlessness."

However, the senior official did not mention the name of the arrested Albanian. Investigating judge Tomassini describes him thus in the investigative file: "Ndreka in particular can boast of connections with Arben Zogu, Dorian Petoku and Petrit Bardhi, individuals who belong to a high-profile criminal circle, already destroyed by numerous arrests."

In the investigations, Ndreka "is defined by his family members, - the investigator underlines, thus justifying his arrest, - as 'the boss'".

Artur Ndreka, like other Albanian bosses, Elvis Demçe has now been arrested.
