The State Police has announced that the road from the hotel where the Serbian team was accommodated to the "National Arena" stadium will have partial blockages at 18:45, due to the escort of the Serbian team during training and the match.

The restrictions will last up to 25 minutes during each crossing. The authorities require the understanding of citizens and compliance with the instructions of the police to ensure the smooth running of the activity, warning zero tolerance towards any violation of public order and safety.

Police Notification:

Any behavior or action that violates public order and safety will be handled in accordance with the law and with zero tolerance.

Meanwhile, the police had previously announced the axes that will be blocked today.

For the smooth running of this activity, during June 7, 2025, from 15:00 until the end of the match, the State Police, in cooperation with the Municipal Police of Tirana, will apply restrictions on the circulation of vehicles on several road axes near the stadium, specifically:

"Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Presidency towards "Mother Teresa" Square, "Pope John Paul II" Street, "Dervish Hima" Street, near the U.S. Embassy, "Asim Zeneli" Street, near the U.S. Embassy, "Themistokli Gërmenji" Street, "Gjergj Filipi" Street, "Lekë Dukagjini" Street, near the former Republic Guard to the stadium, "Faik Konica" Street and "Skerdilajd Llagami" Street.

Parking of buses with local fans coming from Korça and Elbasan, will be done in the parking lot of the "Kalvin" bar, while cars at the terminal near the city "Studenti".

Parking of buses coming from the north and south will be done in the "Vehicle Processing Terminal" parking lot near the Kamza overpass, while cars will be parked in the parking lot near the "Asllan Rusi" sports palace, in the underground parking lot in "Skënderbej" square, as well as in the underground parking lot on "New Boulevard", at the former train station.

PLAN OF MEASURES:

-Escorting and securing the footballers of the Serbian team, from Rinas airport, to the hotel, to the stadium and back to Rinas;

-Escorting and securing the footballers of the Albanian team, in the stadium;

-Conducting systematic checks in the premises inside and outside the stadium, for unauthorized citizens, objects and pyrotechnics, before fans enter;

-Organization of services for guaranteeing public order before, during and after the end of the football match, not only near the stadium, but also the control of the territory throughout the city of Tirana;

-Provision of emergency services routes;

-Road traffic management in the city of Tirana, before, during and after the football match.

In accordance with the plan of measures, the employees of the State Police will exercise detailed control over the fans, before entering the stadium, in order to prevent the entry into the stadium of banners with racist content, fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, metal coins, umbrellas, lighters, mobile phone chargers, tools/products for cosmetic use and other hard items.

Also, we appeal to citizens not to raise drones in the security perimeter (around the "National Arena" stadium), because they will be shot down, as the State Police will use anti-drone equipment.

On this occasion, we inform Albanian and foreign citizens that based on the Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania, violent actions in sports activities, such as entering the field of play during the time of development of sports activity by unauthorized persons, constitute a criminal offense and is punishable by a fine from 50,000 to 100,000 ALL. When this offense has hindered the normal development of sports activity, it is punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to three months.

Throwing hard objects on the playing field or on people, holding or using pyrotechnics, fireworks, flares, during the development of a sports activity, are punishable by imprisonment from six months to three years.

The Albanian criminal legislation considers it a criminal offense, hitting or any other act of violence, against the athlete, coach, referee, sports mediator, due to sports activity, and sentences them to imprisonment from one to three years. This offense, when committed in sports facilities, more than once, or by leaders or members of sports clubs, is punishable by imprisonment from one to five years.

We ask for the understanding of the fans to appear at the entrance of the stadium, at 18:00, as due to the influx of fans, just before the start of the match, they may lose the opportunity to enter the stadium.

Also, we appeal to fans and sports fans not to publish purchased tickets on social networks, as they may be duplicated in violation of the law. Each ticket is equipped with a barcode, is personal and should be kept only by the citizen who owns it, who will go alone, to check the barcode from the device that automatically registers any attempt to enter with a forged or duplicate ticket.

We inform you that duplication/multiplication of the ticket is considered forgery and fraud, offenses which are punishable by the Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania.

In case you find yourself in such situations of illegality, report it immediately to the number 112.

For the smooth running of this sports activity, the State Police has engaged hundreds of police officers, who will guarantee public order and safety, as well as provide assistance and information, in case of need, so that this activity is concluded without incidents, in the interest of the image of the country.
