There are reports of new attacks in Yemen's capital, Sana'a, by American and British armed forces.
This is reported by the Al Masirah television network, which is close to the Houthi rebels.
The additional attacks carried out on Friday evening were fewer compared to the previous night.
According to information transmitted by Al Jazeera , an air base on the outskirts of the capital Sanaa has been targeted, while explosions have also been reported in the city of Hodeidah.
“At 3:45 a.m. on January 13, US forces launched a strike against a Houthi radar center in Yemen. This attack was carried out by the destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) using Tomahawk surface attack missiles and was a follow-up action against a specific military target related to the attacks carried out on January 12, designed to degrade the insurgents' ability to attack ships naval forces, including merchant ships," US Central Command said in a statement. The Houthis fired a ballistic missile at a merchant ship on Friday.
So on Thursday, the US and UK struck 28 separate Houthi locations in an effort to hamper their ability to launch attacks in international shipping waters in the Red Sea.
Both countries were also supported by Canada, Australia, Bahrain and the Netherlands.
