The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met Pope Francis in the Vatican.
Osmani announced that Kosovo has opened a special mission in the Holy See.
"Honored to officially decree the opening of the Special Mission of Kosovo in the Holy See, after two years of intensive efforts together with the leadership", Osmani wrote in X.
"This is a great achievement for Kosovo and a new chapter in Kosovo-Vatican relations, which we are committed to deepening".
