Lulzim Berisha appeared before the black squads of the GJKKO today, about a day after he was extradited from Spain, where he was given the security measure of "prison arrest".

In the hearing against him, the former leader of the Durrës gang opposed the statements of the justice collaborator, Luftar Reçi, who accused him of being the murderer of Klodian Saliu.

Lulzim Berisha stated that he has never met Luftar Reçi and that he does not know him.

He addressed the black platoons, saying, "If you try to contact me, punish me as much as you want."

"I don't know that man at all, I've never met him. If you try to contact me, punish me as much as you want. Just like the other accusation fell on me, this one will fall on me as well ," said Lulzim Berisha.

54-year-old Lulzim Berisha was extradited from Spain to our country on the evening of March 18. He is accused of the murder of Klodian Saliu in 2005.

The main evidence against Lulzim Berisha is the testimony of Luftar Reçi, a convict who agreed to confess from prison to his participation in the murder of Klodian Saliu.

Luftar Reçi says that Lulzim Berisha had proposed an agreement 20 years ago to make an exchange of people to be killed.

Reçi was supposed to participate in the murder of Klodian Saliu, while Lul Berisha was supposed to kill his enemy in Burrel.

A citizen with high social risk, accused of several criminal acts against life, is being extradited from Spain.

The operation to capture him in Spain, codenamed "Sant Joan", was finalized on December 14, 2023, as a result of close cooperation between FAST Albania and FAST Spain.

Following this cooperation, Interpol Tirana and Interpol Madrid finalized the procedure for the extradition from Spain to Albania of the internationally wanted Albanian citizen, LB, 54 years old.

In 2020, he was assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" by the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", "Murder under qualifying circumstances", against 2 or more persons and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", committed in the form of a structured criminal group.

In collaboration with other citizens, the 54-year-old is suspected of:

-in 2004, he wounded citizens VL and Xh. N. with a firearm;

-in 2005, near the village of Koxhaj, he killed citizen KS with a firearm and wounded citizen OT;

-in 2005, he killed citizens VL and AA with explosives placed in an elevator cabin.
