The police of Tirana have reacted after the news that a guard of the company "Illyrian Guard" died after coming into contact with electricity in the air traffic control tower of "Albcontrol".

The family gave the news, complaining about the lack of quick response of the emergency service and the negligence of the "Illyrian Guard" company to give them information about the event.

In the press release, the Tirana Police state that the guard died after coming into contact with electricity in an electric cabin, a few meters away from the place of service.

Police Notification:

On 09.11.2024, citizen HD, 56 years old, employee of the Private Physical Security Service, who allegedly came into contact with electric current in an electric cabin (several meters from away from the place where he served). As a result of the injuries received, this citizen died in the hospital.

The investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
