Rain, wind and snow. This week, Albania will be engulfed by unstable weather with rain, but there will also be snowfall in the mountainous areas.
However, according to forecasters, the rains will not be of high intensity, like those of a few days ago when they caused floods in the north of the country.
"The second part of Sunday will bring increased clouds which will bring rain to the western lowlands, rain which will not be problematic. While in the mountainous areas, we will have snowfall in the Kukës District, but also in the southeast in Pogradec, Korçë and Erseke", forecaster Hakil Osmani told TV Klan.
After midweek the rain will be more visible in the southern areas.
"But starting from Wednesday, we will have frequent clouds in our country, more visible in the southern areas which will generate rainfall and snowfall above 1 thousand meters, from sea level. More visible in the southwestern areas of the Albanian territory. From time to time there will be few moments of rain showers".
This unstable weather will also be accompanied by a drop in temperatures up to -7 degrees.
"The minimum values in the cities of the mountainous areas will drop to -4 degrees, while in the deep mountain villages we will have temperatures of -7 degrees Celsius".
According to forecasters, these low temperatures will also create frost on the axes of rural areas.
