15 years without justice are 15 years of great injustice. This is what Prime Minister Rama said at the meeting with the families of the victims of January 21, where he also expressed criticism of the new justice system, which he said should have sought justice from the GJKKO for the 4 state murders of January 21.

" God knows with what stone in my heart I come to this building when the light of day comes out on January 21. It is a stone that grows bigger and bigger and that shows me through a sorrow, how much bigger it becomes every January 21, your disappointment, your family, your bitterness, your pledge for the non-arrival of justice. 15 years without justice are 15 years of great injustice, not just for some, but for Albania and the Albanian people.

For you, the families of the martyrs of January 21, the 15 years of this gap are like a life lived in anxiety and humiliation. For those of you who were grandparents, the time has come to become great-grandparents, for those of you who were children, the time has come to become parents, while for those 4 parts of your soul whose bodies have dissolved into the earth, the time has not come to rest in peace. Neither the overthrow of the old justice system nor the fall of the cult of impunity have been enough to date to eliminate the shadow of injustice over January 21. It was not enough for the Strasbourg decision more than two years ago for SPAK prosecutors to ask the special court for justice for the 4 state murders of January 21, while in the name of justice, equal justice for all, for a full 6 years we have been doing them nothing but walls and paying them salaries that are higher than ourselves and the president, not counting our patient and silent justification of their extremely worrying mistakes of a new and vital institution for the rule of law. Justice for January 21 must be put in place ", said Rama.
