The rally took place in an atmosphere charged with political messages, while the protesters declared that they will continue their mobilization for the demands they have raised for several days, led by the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Rama, we'll tear up the contract!", said one of them.

One of the protesters addressed Prime Minister Edi Rama and the leader of the DP in harsh tones, declaring that they no longer represent the will of the citizens.

"Both Berisha and Rama should open their ears and listen to the message that is clearly coming from this square. You no longer represent us," he said.

The protester added that, according to him, a large portion of citizens within the country and in the diaspora are seeking political change.

"The majority of the Albanian people in the square and those in the diaspora have a clear message for you: Rama and Berisha, you are fired," he declared amid chants from protesters.
