Today marks the sixth day of the protest of thousands of citizens in front of the Prime Minister's Office, who oppose the project in the Zvërnec protected area and demand the resignation of the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
One of the protesters stated that the government has attempted to delegitimize the protest and at first described them as Greek, then as Russian, while today Prime Minister Edi Rama has described them as Iranian.
"At first they told us we were Greek, then they told us we were Russian, and today we have also come out as Iranians. The government that has come to the end does not understand that there are good Albanians here, free Albanians who love Albania only for Albanians," she said.
Another protester said that the protest is not only aimed at Zvërnec and Nartë, as the goal is to put Rama and Berisha in prison.
"I see many people who speak with or without desire, directing all their interest to Narta, Zvërnec. We are not only for Zvërnec, we will get him after we liberate Albania from these two people. Rama in prison, Berisha in prison.
"And don't forget that the students who rejected communism were without bread in their stomachs, you are with AMG. Wake up because you are of Albanian blood. Don't let any party take the credit for the protest ," the protester said.
