Going to North Macedonia through the Qafë Thana border crossing is becoming "hell", as travelers are forced to wait up to 3 hours to cross from one country to another.

Despite the announcement by both the interior ministries of Albania and North Macedonia that waiting times would be shortened with the new agreement, there is still no new system in place and the agreement is not being implemented.

Under these conditions, travelers are forced to wait for hours in high temperatures.
