The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla , has published the moment of the arrest of Altin Çoku , who allegedly caused a 27-year-old woman to commit suicide.

In his response, Balla writes that he has asked the State Police to increase the detection and response force for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.

Balla also appeals that legal changes in addressing the dangers of online violence should be consulted and approved as soon as possible.

Reaction of the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla :

The State Police has identified and detained a person suspected of blackmail and gender-based violence on social networks with serious consequences for the life of a citizen.

I have asked the State Police to increase the detection and response force for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls in all, which remains the most widespread form of violation of human rights worldwide!

Also, legal changes addressing the dangers of online violence should be consulted and approved as soon as possible.
