The General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, will hold a meeting with the Road Police officers this evening.

The meeting is expected to be held at 23:30 in the evening and comes after Rrumbullak took over the direction of the State Police. The latter is expected to give his orders to the Road officials.

Muhamet Rrumbullaku was introduced this morning to the post of chief police director, one day after receiving the appointment by government decision.

Rrumbullaku presented the objectives of his new task, listing among them the order of Prime Minister Edi Rama the day before to remove policemen from vehicle speed checks on the road. He underlined that another point is the presence of police officers without uniform on the streets to increase the evidence of elements that affect the safety of citizens.
