The police start checks: 81 nurseries and kindergartens in violation of the law

After the 3-year-old's violence in a kindergarten in Tirana, the authorities have started checks throughout Albania and are verifying preschool institutions.

The State Police says that 201 subjects were checked throughout the country, while 81 of them were found to be carrying out activities in complete violation of the law.

NOTICE

The State Police Services have carried out checks in 201 subjects, throughout the country, and have carried out procedural actions according to the law, for 81 subjects where it has been found that the activity was carried out in violation of the law.             

As a result of the checks and verifications carried out by the Police services, 63 nurseries and kindergartens were identified in which activities were carried out without the relevant license or with irregular documentation, of these: 40 in Tirana, 11 in Durrës, 4 in Lezhë, 4 in Shkodër, 2 in Fier, 1 in Vlorë and 1 in Gjirokastër.

- For the owners/administrators of these 63 entities, the specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the local police directorates have referred the procedural materials to the respective prosecutors' offices, for the criminal offense of "Exercising an illegal or unregistered commercial activity in the tax authorities". "Illegal employment", "Fraud", "Concealment of income", "Abuse of duty", "Non-payment of taxes and duties" and "Laundering of proceeds of criminal offense or criminal activity".

-For the other 18 entities that were operating in violation of the law, verifications were carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sports and the tax authorities. These entities will be punished with administrative measures, according to the violations committed.    

-Tirana District/For the entities found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for the owners/administrators of these entities, the citizens:    

AB, 37 years old, IM, 49 years old, LO, 62 years old, AY, 39 years old, Xh. H., 68 years old, M. Sh., 49 years old, B. Gj., 60 years old, GT, 48 years old, AN, 38 years old, FD, 50 years old, EE, 42 years old, BH, 41 years old, AR, 55 years old, BM, 53 years old, EK, 46 years old, E. Th., 56 years old, MM, 20 years old, Sh. R., 57 years old, NQ, 46 years old, GS, 48 years old, IM, 33 years old, Gj. S., 61 years old, PU, ​​58 years old, MT, 58 years old, BZ, 31 years old, BZ, 30 years old, JM, 34 years old, DJ, 35 years old, ED, 47 years old, EP, 45 years old, LP, 36 years old , MK, 34 years old, MA, 47 years old, AA, 41 years old, MJ, 34 years old, and EN, 32 years old, A. - Durrës County/For the entities found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for the owners of the entities, citizens: DJ, 55 years old, ZD, 59 years old, MC, 31 years old , KD, 29 years old, AK, 52 years old, AR, 52 years old, EM, 39 years old, E. Sh., 33 years old, NG, 59 years old, ES, 49 years old and LK, 39 years old, all residents of Durrës.  

-Lezhë District/For the subjects found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for the administrators of the subjects, citizens: E. Sh., 55 years old, PK, 65 years old, D Ll., 29 years old and FT, 70 years old, all residents of Lezha. 

-Shkodër District/For the entities found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodër General Jurisdiction, for the administrators of the entities, citizens EB, 25 years old, DB, 40 years old, BM, 26 years old and EA, 35 years old, all residents of Shkodër.

- Fier District/ For the subjects found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for the administrators of these subjects, EK citizens, 47 years old, resident in Fier and BM, 43 years old, living in Lushnja.

-Vlora County/For the subject found illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Vlora, for the owner of the subject, citizen ET, 44 years old, resident in Vlora.    

-Gjirokastër District/For the subject found to be illegal, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Gjirokastër, for the administrator of the subject, citizen FS, 52 years old, resident in Gjirokastër.   

- In other counties, checks were carried out in dozens of nurseries and kindergartens, where the verifications showed that the activity was carried out according to legal regulations, with regular documentation.      

The Police Services throughout the country will carry out checks in all nurseries and private kindergartens, for the identification of all cases where the activity in these entities is carried out in violation of the law, with the aim of identifying and punishing according to the law, the owners/administrators of these subjects, who, by not meeting the standards for carrying out this activity, may endanger the lives and health of children.       

The operation is ongoing, to verify any illegality in all police areas nationwide.
