Knife wound in Durrës, elderly man shoots friend after playing dominoes

An unusual clash between two elderly people occurred this Monday in "Pranvera" Square in the city center of Durrës, where an argument during a game of dominoes ended in a knife wound.

The incident occurred around 3:00 PM, when, according to police sources, the conflict between two elderly men escalated into physical violence and one of them shot the other with a cutting tool.

Durrës Police patrols and an ambulance immediately arrived at the scene, which transported the injured man to the regional hospital. His condition is reported to be under control.

The suspected perpetrator has been taken to the police station, where he is being questioned regarding the motive for the conflict and the circumstances of the incident. The police have launched investigations to fully clarify the incident.
