The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction has imposed the security measure "prison arrest" for the three suspects in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Anesti Rama.
The victim's daughter, 26-year-old Emalinda Rama, his wife, Valbona Rama, as well as Çlirim Dogani, who is suspected of having had an intimate relationship with the victim's daughter, have been arrested.
It is reported that the suspected perpetrators of the murder of the 55-year-old man in Fier have given various statements in court.
"The statements made by them these days were very contradictory to what they stated today in the court process. Today they completely denied involvement in the murder. They say 'we don't know anything about who killed him, we found him dead'," lawyer Kastriot Dyrmishi told the media.
Emanilda Rama (the victim's daughter), Valbona Rama (his wife), and Çlirim Dogani were released from prison today. All three are accused of collaborating in the commission of the crime, which was initially presented by the family as a natural death.
It is suspected that the girl initially hit her father in the genitals, and after he fell to the ground, Dogani held his hands while she strangled him with a wire.
It is also suspected that they used sharp and cutting tools.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old's mother helped cover the tracks and clean the blood from the victim's body.
The crime was discovered through phone tapping, where the 26-year-old communicated with her associate, Dogani, who is suspected of having an intimate relationship with her. The latter was married and the father of two children.
