Holidays in Albania? Clash between Italian tourists on social networks: "Dirty sea and high prices". No. All lies. Here it is better than Italy". It seems that Albania is already causing debates on social networks in Italy. Dozens of videos show the experience in the most popular summer destination of 2023. But how does the truth stand?

Since the news that in 2023 the Albanian coasts are being "occupied" by Italian tourists in search of a low-cost trip, attention to this country has increased dramatically. Stories and testimonies are flooding social networks, showing the positive sides of the new "El Dorado" of tourism, but also the negative ones. And, as often happens in these cases, discussions turn into real clashes.

"Beautiful sea, low prices ". The label of dreams, with which Albania has returned to the center of every discourse in the summer holidays. But is it really so? It depends. In fact, many people share their experience on social networks, confirming even better what has been said.

"Umbrellas in the first row 10 euros, they bring me coffee while I'm on the deckchair and I only pay 2 euros", - comments an enthusiastic Italian.

"Those who criticize Albania are because they have not been there ," says another. And again another: "Enough of the ignorant who criticize Albania, if you don't like it, stay in Italy." It's nicer here."

It is enough to search #Albania on TikTok, to have dozens of examples of this type. A young man responds to an Italian tourist who documented the "dirty sea and crowded beach".

"It's clear you're still drunk from the night before - he says - you're telling a bunch of lies."

So who is right?

"The reality is that it depends on where you go - comments another Italian who was on vacation in Albania - There are many choices here, but you have to be careful. Some places, the most sought after ones, have high prices and it is easy to be disappointed. But it is full of heaven."

In short, so to speak, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. However, it is not difficult to find many examples of totally negative videos.

"Albanian friends, don't be angry with the phenomenon of the moment, you live in a fantastic country", says influencer Simone Coccia in a video. One thing is certain, Neapolitans are crazy about Albania.

“Are there any Venetians here? I only see people from Naples ", comments a girl ironically. The success of Saranda and other Albanian cities is also thanks to them.
