An elderly woman from the village of Pirg i Maliqi, 67-year-old Luljeta Hoxha, experienced horror two nights before the turn of the year, where a robber entered her apartment, brutally raped her, tied her up and robbed her of a sum of money 10 thousand euros.

The 67-year-old woman is still in the hospital, since the rape on December 29, while the perpetrator is still unidentified and at large. The elderly woman, who lived alone in the apartment for two years, in a statement for the media, has confessed from the hospital the horror she experienced.

Luljeta Hoxha says that the robber threatened to kill her, as he hit her, tied her up and dragged her to another room.

"At 21:40 I went to the bathroom and fell asleep. Kam shumë frikë të kthehem në shtëpi, shumë, po them mos marr ndonjë urdhër mbrojtjeje nga polici i zonës. Nuk kam besim se do gjendet këtë pyetje ma ka bërë dhe policia.
