The number two of the DP, Flamur Noka, has denounced the Minister of Health, Evis Sala, for making decisions in the interests of the oligarch Klodian Allajbeu.

Noka's reaction comes after the latest order signed by the minister, which foresees a reduction in the number of employees at Family Medicine Center No. 10 in Tirana.

Through a post on Facebook, Noka declares that the minister is not running the health system in the interest of citizens, but is favoring clientelist interests.

"Evis Sala is not running the health sector, but is acting on behalf of Klodian Allajbeu. While leaving over 100 thousand citizens without specialist doctors, he is gathering dozens of doctors in centers that lack both facilities and patients. This is not a reform of the health service, but a maneuver in function of clientelist interests. Albanians want the health sector to serve them, not Edi Rama's clients ," Noka writes.

The order signed by the minister provides for the reduction of the medical staff at Family Medicine Center No. 10 in Tirana, reducing the number of doctors from 43 to 37. The decision affects one of the most populated areas of the capital.

The reduction in specialists at this center is expected to affect the burden on the public health service, increasing waiting times for citizens and increasing the need to turn to private hospitals.
