Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by Minister of Culture Blendi Gonxhja, inspected today, July 7, the stadium for Kanye West's big concert, which is being prepared to welcome spectators from 80 countries on Saturday, July 11.
Minister of Culture Blendi Gonxhja said that they are not only working on an event, but also on better infrastructure for the area. Gonxhja stated that Albania has entered a completely different level.
"This stadium also brings development to the area, as we have also intervened in the infrastructure. Albania has also entered another phase, organizing such large events, which are held in different countries of the world," said Gonxha.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Rama underlined that the event brings benefits to Albania. The head of government added that spectators from 80 different countries around the world will be present at the stadium.

"This is an event organized entirely by a private group, Albanian, German, Turkish partners, who have undertaken this entire colossal enterprise. The Albanian state was forced to intervene only yesterday to provide not tens and millions of euros as the crows and ravens on the boulevard say, but 4 million, so that we can guarantee those thousands of people who have purchased tickets from 80 countries and are more than those who bought tickets to the Conference League final. If the event were not to take place, it would be one less opportunity for the capital's economy. This is because those thousands of people bring an immediate and step-by-step economic impact. The Conference League final brought us all that boom in tourists from the Netherlands and Italy. They are investments for a different Albania," said Rama.
“Eagle Stadium”, located near the Tirana-Durrës highway, is expected to welcome around 60 thousand spectators, being considered the largest music event ever organized in Albania. Ticket prices start from 120 euros, while VIP packages go up to 339 euros. The stop in Tirana is part of the rapper’s world tour for 2026, a tour that has been the subject of controversy in some places.
The concert in Tirana is organized by the Berlin-based company “Streetlife”, known for organizing performances by internationally renowned artists such as 50 Cent, Drake, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj. In Albania, the event is supported by Redcloud and Live Label.
