Trial begins on the merits for the former couple / Ilir Meta and Monika

The trial on the merits for former president Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi is being held today at the GJKKO.

The process has already begun, with both Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi present at the session.

Ilir Meta has chosen to be represented by lawyer Bujar Musta, after deciding to no longer cooperate with Kujtim Cakran.

Meta claims that not all investigative documents have been made available to him, while the Court responded: "The documents have been ready for a long time, but your defense attorney has refused to receive them. Your lawyer can come to receive them, or we can make them available to you in detention."
