Korça Police have arrested citizen IK, 63 years old, administrator of a private entity.

The entrepreneur is suspected of having illegally constructed several concrete foundations on the Korça-Voskopojë road axis, with the aim of constructing buildings, without being provided with the relevant documentation.

Also, criminal proceedings have been initiated against citizens IL, 54 years old, and EK, 36 years old, with the duties of Chief Inspector and Inspector at the IMT of the Municipality of Korça, who are suspected of abusing their duties by failing to carry out the relevant checks and by failing to notify the Police in a timely manner.

Following the actions, Inspector AB, with the duty of assistant/police specialist (SPZ), and Deputy Commissioner EP, with the duty of Specialist for Crime Investigation at the Korça Police Station, have been suspended from duty and serious disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against them.

At the same time, the serious disciplinary process has begun for Deputy Commissioner PB, with the duty of coordinator of law enforcement assistants/specialists in the area.

Meanwhile, the Professional Standards Directorate at the General Directorate of the State Police is continuing the in-depth disciplinary investigation into this case.
