A serious incident occurred this morning in the city of Shkodra, where 44-year-old Anila Prendushi was shot in the head by her partner, 34-year-old Kolë Manaj, who then committed suicide.

As authorities work to fully unravel this incident, two leads are being investigated: jealousy and economic impossibility. It is learned that the 44-year-old was the only one bringing income into the house, as her partner of 5 years was unemployed.

She worked as a psychologist at the Municipality of Shkodra and for all those who know her, she is a dedicated and highly professional employee. This is what one of her colleagues, with whom she had worked years ago, told Euronews Albania.

Klajdi Xhelilaj showed that the 44-year-old is one of the best professionals in her field and that the entire city of Shkodra respects her.
