The 34-year-old Aranit Arapi from Divjaka, who is accused of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old minor from Roskoveci, was brought to the Court of Fier this morning .

The jury chaired by judge Klodiana Kryeziu and prosecutor Oliana Gjergjefi, referring to the case in question and after examining the evidence and testimonies, has deemed the arrest of the 34-year-old to be legal and has set the measure of "imprisonment".

Aranit Arapi from the village of Kryekuq i Divjaka was handcuffed by the police on the evening of January 10.

He was handcuffed in the apartment after he was in a relationship with a 14-year-old girl for 10 months. The minor had been living with the boy's family since March of last year, while the latter had also had a wedding.

The relationship has been repeatedly opposed by the girl's parents, who reported the case to the police. The 34-year-old was accompanied several times by the blue uniforms, but was then released during this period. After the next denunciation, Arapi was arrested on Wednesday evening.

The boy's parents say that the girl stayed at their house willingly, while she also expressed something similar to the police. They say that neither they nor the boy knew the exact age of the girl.

After the arrest of the 34-year-old, the minor left his apartment and is under the assistance of psychologists and sociologists.
