29 fires are still active in the country, out of 57 that appeared in the last 24 hours.

The data was made public by the Ministry of Defense, which explains that the fire situation is calmer and more stabilized today.

Currently, intensive work is being done in these areas:

Vlora Region In the municipality of Delvina, work continues on the fire in Syrin e Kaltër. Operating on the ground are: 67 firefighting forces with 11 vehicles, 30 municipal forces, 80 AF personnel with 10 transport vehicles, 6 ambulances and 30 support forces. The fire continues to be active on the heights of Sopot Mountain. The fire continues to be active in the villages of Pecë, Sirikat and Kardhikaq, Finiq municipality. The situation is being monitored by local structures. The fire in the village of Kuç, the administrative unit of Horë-Vranisht, the municipality of Himarë, continues in an area of bushes and forests. Elbasan District

The following were engaged in the field: 30 firefighting forces with 11 vehicles from the Gramsh, Elbasan, Cërrik and Librazhd MDS; 60 municipal forces; 80 volunteer forces and 70 AF personnel with 2 firefighting vehicles. 2 helicopters (Czech and Slovak) participated in the air operations. The operation continues with the engagement of local forces. Work has continued to extinguish the fire that broke out in the village of Kodovjat, near the village of Posnovisht, Kodovjat administrative unit, Gramsh municipality. After the work of the forces on the field, the fire was isolated and was kept under monitoring during the night. The fire that broke out in the villages of Mukaj and Sojnik, Kukur administrative unit, Gramsh municipality, in areas with bushes and brambles, continues to be present. No homes have been endangered.

Shkodra District

In the municipality of Fushë Arrëz, in the village of Xath, the Blerim administrative unit has continued work to extinguish the fire and bring it under control. The fire has also endangered the village of Trun, on the top of Kunor Dardhës, in a very rugged mountainous terrain. Currently, ground forces and the AF helicopter are operating.

Kukës County In the village of Bele, Zapod administrative unit, Kukës municipality, a fire has broken out in the Korab-Koritnik Natural Park, in a forest area. The engagement of forces on the ground to isolate and completely extinguish the fire continues.

Korca District

Work has continued to extinguish the fire that has broken out in a pine forest area in the village of Gërmenj, administrative unit of Qendër Leskovik, municipality of Kolonjë. The situation is under the supervision of the MZSH Kolonjë. 65 firefighting vehicles and 1,143 operational forces were deployed in the firefighting operations, assisted by the AF with 409 military forces, 23 firefighting vehicles and 3 AF helicopters. 7 helicopters and 1 Canadair aircraft from Italy also participated.
