Following the police report that in about 3 months 137 arsonists have been identified, 46 of whom have been arrested, Prime Minister Edi Rama has also reacted. In a reaction on social media, the Prime Minister says that the number of arsonists this season has increased, and according to him, the largest number caught by law enforcement is also recorded.

The controls will continue, the head of government adds, even with the help of technology. 

"The State Police is on the alert day and night to identify and capture arsonists, in a season with an increase in their number and with the largest number captured by law enforcement." 

During the months of June - July and until August 14:
• 137 arsonists identified
• 46 arrested
• 91 prosecuted

"The National Security Forces, "Eagle", general patrols and operational forces, under the direction of local directorates and the General Directorate, will continue in the field and with the help of technology will enable the delivery to justice of these criminals who deserve maximum punishments," Rama writes.
