The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, and analyst Baton Haxhiu, clashed with each other on the show 'Çim Peka Live' after mutual accusations during the time he was leading the Presidency.

Meta and Haxhiu clashed over the change of Kosovo's borders and the appointment of Genc Cakaj as head of the Foreign Ministry.

Excerpts from the debate:

Meta: I didn't do any kind of conspiracy. I am here and I am starting from scratch, full of energy, optimism and confidence, my political career precisely because I have been true. I'm not saying I've been infallible, but I've been true.  

Haxhiu: I have a content within my confession, despite the fact that Ilir and I have known each other for a long time, so long that we know each other's flaws.

I have had a communication about the Cakaj case, privately and publicly. When he did not accept the letter privately, I let him know publicly that he was committing a sin and a conspiracy against a young man.

Meta: What did I do to you about Genti Caka, that maybe Edi Rama didn't say it exactly, but that you know it correctly. And let's clarify this mud job, after I give you the documents.

Haxhiu: The first was that you did not sign the ministerial decree. You accepted the Vetëvendosje group, Albin Kurti, etc., and entered into a conspiratorial relationship for a young man. I explained to the public about a guy who, in my opinion, is one of the best.

Meta: Haxhiu talks about the part he knows. First, we had the changes of half the government due to the student strike, there were 6-7 ministers. You know that I had a good relationship with Minister Bushati, work matters. Here was the problem of the sea with Greece. It was also the time of the idea of ​​changing the borders, in Kosovo and the Balkans, that my name was a concern. A man who I did not know at all as president is proposed as Foreign Minister. But the Minister of Foreign Affairs is a very important person, in relation to the state, because he puts a signature and that signature is in the name of Albania and goes to any kind of court. They send me an interview given by him on a TV, where he talked about changing the borders.

Haxhiu: I am the person who spoke first about correcting the borders for Ilir Meta. There is no day for anyone. For the reason that the conspiracy for all things, including the correction of the borders, comes because of the sincerity that I have had with Iliri for a long time.
