Last week's attack on the state police systems, including the TIMS platform, caused a collapse not only in the border points but also in the District Directorates and the Police Stations, putting out of order the Traffic Police fines database.
Despite the fact that the system has not been working since September 10, the Traffic Police has continued to penalize violators of the traffic code, imposing administrative measures.
But on the other hand, the citizens who have been fined by the Road officials during this time, have expressed concern regarding the risk of late payment of administrative measures.
Reliable sources told Ora News that the Traffic Police will not apply interest on the administrative measures until the system returns to work normally.
Although the police structures are without a system, the payment will be made in hand together with the fine sheet.
To resolve the situation, the Traffic Police has sent a letter to the General Directorate informing about the situation and asking for an opinion on how to act.
Another difficulty for the officers is the online verification of cars with foreign license plates that were driving in our country.
The internal police system has been working with a problem since last Friday.
The TIMS platform continues to operate at border points but not at full speed because IT experts are still working on setting up and guaranteeing security on the platform.
