Mega-operation against "Ndragheta" in Italy, 49 people are arrested.

A major operation against the "Ndrangheta" has taken place in Italy. The Italian media write that the operation was carried out by the carabinieri of the Gioia Tauro Territorial Group and it is reported that 49 people have been arrested so far.

The operation called "Hybris", coordinated by the Reggio Calabria DDA, concerns the Piromalli and Molè gangs of Gioia Tauro, two of the historical groups of the 'Ndrangheta.

For 34 arrested, the security measure "prison arrest" was set, while for 15 others, the measure "house arrest" was set.

We remind you that the Italian police have conducted several operations against "Ndragheta" in recent times, where many people ended up in handcuffs.
