A businessman from Ioannina threw his 31-year-old fiancee into the lake after she asked him to separate. The businessman was engaged to the 31-year-old woman, she was expecting a child from him. The girl, because their relationship was not going well recently, asked him for a divorce and at the same time informed him that she is pregnant, but will keep the child.

He replied that he would not allow another to be with his wife and child and asked her to meet. Indeed, the girl went on the date, but the businessman had taken three other people with him. 

At that time, the three acting together, after getting the 31-year-old out of the car, pulling her by the hands and hair and pushing her violently, first lifted her in the air, dragged her to the shore of the lake of Ioannina in a distance of about 3 meters, they lifted him in the air again and threw him into the lake.

The businessman saw the whole scene and then left, leaving the girl in the lake. In fact, as she describes it, when they left they didn't even look back to see if it had surfaced or not. 

With a lot of effort and while the temperature that day was 6 degrees Celsius, the girl managed to get ashore ( on a road by the lake ). Wet, bruised as she was, she went to her car and found her cell phone. He immediately notified the Police, saying "they threw me into the lake, they will kill me, come quickly because I'm cold".

An ambulance and a police car arrived immediately. She was taken to the hospital with hypothermia, bruises on her left shoulder, knees, right palm and left arm. There, his wounds were treated, he underwent tests and was hospitalized for ten days.

The businessman's goal was to throw his fiancee into the lake to abort the baby. The businessman and the other two persons were arrested, while the identity of the fourth person was not disclosed. Fortunately, nothing happened to the child from the whole macabre event, writes Protothema.
