The BBC reports that there is "a credible threat" to the US-led Coalition Air Operations Center at Al-Udaid in Qatar.

Even Fox News reports that such an attack is expected to happen at any moment.

Qatar has temporarily closed its airspace and the air base is reportedly on high alert.

The threat is believed to come from a possible Iranian missile attack.

Al-Udaid is a massive base outside the Qatari capital, Doha, and is the headquarters of US Centcom for all its air operations in the Middle East, where British military personnel also serve on a rotational basis.
