The decision is made for the 40-year-old Albanian who stabbed his wife 60 times in Houthalen, Belgium. Besnik P., was sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted murder.

The event happened on August 14, 2021, where the 40-year-old turned off the lights of the house and hit his wife with a Swiss army knife, but luckily she managed to escape alive, but disfigured. Their minor daughters and the victim's sister were present.

It is learned that the cause of the barbaric violence was the wife's request for divorce. During the court session, the 40-year-old man stated that he did not remember the event very well, so he said that he had taken the knife in his hand to cut tomatoes, but instead he shot his wife.

The woman stated that she was disfigured and traumatized by the incident and that she is now ashamed to go out on the street because of her new appearance.
