Albania has made a dignified presentation of its natural beauties through a promotional video at the tourism fair in Berlin, accompanied by folklore performances on stage.
Among the performances, there were also those from northern Albania with their characteristic dance and clothing, as well as the southern fustanellas who performed the "Osman Taka" dance.
However, a performance of a polyphonic lament song, or as it is popularly called "labçe", has attracted quite a bit of attention.
She was criticized for the song "Oil", "where sisters cried for their brother", but also for mixing it with the sounds of the piano on stage. An even more absurd detail was the dressing of one of the singers in Xhublets, an element that is not in the tradition of the southern regions.
The performance has not gone without criticism, even in the comments on Prime Minister Edi Rama's profile, where Albania's presentation in Berlin is being broadcast live.
