The collapse of a scaffolding during construction work led to the fall and injury of a 38-year-old man.

The accident at work occurred on "Dyrrah" Boulevard in Durrës, where a scaffolding collapsed during the reconstruction of a building, leaving a worker injured, reports Top Channel correspondent Vali Qyrfyçi.

According to preliminary information, the injured man, around 38 years old, suffered serious leg injuries and was urgently transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police have arrived at the scene, and are investigating to determine the causes of the collapse and whether safety regulations were respected at work.

Meanwhile, the owner of the building has been taken to the police station.
