Following a call from the Parliamentary Media Commission, the RTSH Steering Council has canceled the decision taken a few days ago to disqualify eight of the 10 candidates who had applied from the RTSH leadership competition.
In an emergency meeting held today under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Gëzim Podgorica , with nine votes in favor, it was decided that the race would be restarted from the beginning and the eight candidates left out would once again become part of the race.
The decision-making a few days ago, where through an illegal vote, most of the candidates, including well-known names in journalism such as Eni Vasili , were left out of the race, was harshly criticized by the Parliament, where in a common language, the DP and the SP warned of drastic measures for the Steering Council if it did not return the race to public television.
Faced with this situation, the Council, with its latest decision-making, has returned the process to the starting point, where in addition to the two VAT employees who remained in the competition, 8 more disqualified employees will be added.
