"They have weapons"/ Police stop Mercedes in Durrës, one of the young men abandons the vehicle, what happened to the 2 young men

A police operation took place this afternoon in neighborhood number 4 in Durrës, where numerous police forces intervened to stop a black "Mercedes ML" vehicle, in which two young men from the coastal city were traveling.

The police had received operational information that the two young men might be in possession of firearms. After locating the vehicle, the officers called on them to stop for a search, but they did not obey the police order.

During the intervention, one of the young men abandoned the vehicle in the middle of the road and ran away, while the other person was neutralized and escorted to the police premises.

After searching, officers managed to locate and capture the young man who fled the scene.

Authorities are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and to verify information regarding the firearms allegedly possessed by the young men.
